about posting regularly here. Oh well. I'm here now.
I've started back on my low-carb (LC) diet because I think that's that I need right now. This week has been pretty good. There were a few small things that weren't exactly on plan; but the majority of the week was on plan LC. Along with that, I've exercised 4x this week (had some things come up on the other 2 days that prevented making it 6x this week, which is what I was aiming for).
That all resulted in a 3lb. weight loss; getting me back down to 199! I'm SO excited about that! I'm *hoping* to be down to 185 by my anniversary, which is about 5 weeks away. If I can do that, I'll be at the weight I was when we got married 8 years ago! That would be so exciting! Plus, I would be 35 pounds from my overall goal! So, there's my short term goal and my motivation.
I'm exercising with the first Biggest Loser Workout. (I had to quit with the 30 day Shred because it hurt my knees.) But, I like this workout. It's set up with cardio 3x a week and strength training 3x a week and you follow the program for 6 weeks. (I'm sure you can do it as long as you want, but that's how it's set up.) So, I'm one week into it; with 5 weeks left until my first goal. I'm hoping to keep up with it and then maybe switch to something else. I do have something positive to say about the 30 Day Shred: I'm stronger because of it. I had tried this BL Workout before and it was H.A.R.D.! Now, it's still hard, but I can keep up and usually don't have to stop.
And THAT is almost as good as losing 3lbs. this week! :)
