I just need to rant a little....bear with me.
A lady I know has been taking a supplement to lose weight and lost an incredible amount of weight in the same time period that I've been losing, gaining and relosing the same 10 pounds. Well, I saw pics tonight and she looks great. And that made me feel like a fat cow. Bleh.
I've been struggling anyway since it's just not coming off as fast as I want it to. But that put the icing on the cake and I just needed to get that off my chest anonymously before I said something to somebody that I might regret.
*grrrrrr* Maybe I'll be in a better mood next time I visit.

Halfway There
Today marks the halfway point for me and Jillian's 30-Day Shred. Day 15...I can't believe I've made it. I've done Level 2 for 5 days now and I've come to the conclusion that I hate plank position. It's hard enough to get in plank, then she wants to make you do other stuff! Whew! But I've stuck with it and I am going to finish the whole 30 days!
As for my weigh in, I had a maintain week...200 lbs. again. That's okay with me though. I'll take maintain over gain any week. Overall, I'm pleased with what I've done. I just keep kicking myself for gaining so much over the holidays. I could be in the 180s by now if I hadn't. But I did, so I just have to live with it.
I'll admit that this week I've gotten frustrated with my slow weight loss. I've contemplated changing up my diet to see if I could get faster results. But, I'm on a really good all-inclusive plan. So, I should just stick it out and I'll get there eventually.
Well, that's it for this update. Oh, it's snowing like crazy here! It started about 4.5 hours ago and we've already got about an inch. It's supposed to keep going all night long like this too!

My Day
I watched Julie & Julia tonight. It was such a good movie. Now, I was to read Julia Child's book and the one Julie Powell wrote. I've never been a fan of Julia Child, even though I love to watch cooking shows, but this movie presented her to me in a whole new light. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna start cooking French food, by no means...she uses too much butter!
As for the rest of the day, the birthday party went pretty well. There was pizza and bread sticks along with cake, but all I ate was one bread stick and the cake that my son didn't eat (he ate the frosting). So, I'm pretty pleased with that.
I DID exercise today. I didn't count points or get all my water in. Weekends tend to be like that though. I hope I do well tomorrow; we are supposed to eat at my step-mom's house after church. Sunday is considered my 'free day', but I think I've already had 2 this weekend, so I better watch myself.

Weigh-In
So, it's Friday again....that means weigh-in day. Today was 200!!! YAY! That means I've lost 3 lbs. this week.
It's been a good week. I got back to my exercise; I managed to get in 4 days with Jillian and plan to do it again tomorrow. (Friday's just don't work out well for me to get in a workout.) I stayed on plan with my points and drinking all my water, with the exception of today, but I did better than I could have.
I'm going to a birthday party tomorrow and I do plan to have a small piece of cake there. I've tried at parties before to NOT eat cake while everyone else was, and it just makes me miserable. So, I think it's better to have a small piece and enjoy it than to put SO much pressure on myself.
So, the plan for next week is to keep up what I've been doing: exercise at least 5x, hit my points target everyday, drink ALL my water everyday. I'll be moving up to Level 2 on Jillian's 30-Day Shred. That's what works, apparently.

Weekly WI
Today was my WI: 203. Yep, that +2 lbs.
Here's what happened: last Saturday both of my kids (and me!) got sick. So since then, I haven't exercised or kept track of points or pretty much anything that I did last week!
Now, I'm feeling better and the kids are mostly better. So, I'll be back at it on Monday. I've got some stuff going on this weekend that I'm not going to try to count points for. So, Monday's the day.
And I'll probably be back next Friday, hopefully with smaller number.

Friday Weigh-In
Today was my official weigh-in (WI) day. The scale said 201 this morning. That's a loss of 2 pounds this week. Pretty good!
Also, I've accomplished exercising for 5 days this week. I hope to exercise tomorrow too.
Here's hoping for another 2 pounds next week and another 5 days of working out!

Back to it
So yesterday, I started back again counting my points on Weight Watchers. Oh, and I exercised.
I stepped on the scale this morning, just to see (since my official weigh-in day is Friday) and I was down to 201! Yay! That's 2 more pounds gone since Thursday!
So far, so good. I've kept up with my points and exercised for 2 days in a row. I'm just taking it one day at a time. I did use some Flex points yesterday, but that's what they're for, right?
For my snack today, I found something that I like alot! I had half a cup of cottage cheese with 1 tbsp. of strawberry jelly for a 2 point snack! It was so yummy. Now, I'm looking forward to the Tater Tot Casserole we're going to have for supper tonight.
