I actually remembered to post here on a Friday! That's great!
Today, the scale was a friend, again. 196; that's 3 more lbs. this week with a total of 6 lbs. in 2 weeks!
Starting Monday, hubs is gonna go LC with me. I hope to start back with my exercising and maybe kick it up a notch also....we'll see about that. I'm trying to learn to take one day at a time and not worry about the big picture so much, but to think about what I need to do right now to help. Sometimes, for me, that might mean a a few chocolate chips just to help me feel better. Since I am an emotional eater, I try to put it off for as long as I can before I give in hoping that it will go away. Sometimes, I just gotta have it though.
Another thing that has helped (I think) is I've stopped drinking anything with caffeine after 4pm at the latest. I've been sleeping much better and I think that has helped with my eating habits. I've read lots of weight loss articles that talk about getting enough rest. But it wasn't until I went to the National Sleep Foundation website and read that it takes caffeine 6 hours to get out of your body that I knew why I couldn't fall asleep at night. So, I cut off my caffeine intake by 4 pm and I can usually fall asleep pretty well by 11pm, when I go to bed.
Wow. I didn't mean to do all that rambling. I guess that's it for now. I'm really jazzed about the progress I've seen and hope it continues. Have a great Easter weekend!
